
Ariège is easy to reach by plane (Toulouse or Carcassonne). To get to the Cambouich cottage, a car is essential as public transport is very limited.

- Take the southern ring road then exit 25 towards Tarbes.
- Stay on the A64 motorway for 60 km, until exit n°20.
- Continue towards Saint-Girons (28 km).
- From Saint-Girons follow: Seix • Oust • Guzet Ski Station.
Arriving in Oust:
- Follow the direction Ercé (24 km).
- At the entrance of Ercé, pass the small grocery shop on your right.
- 100 m further on, turn left towards Hameau de Cominac up to the church.
- Continue about 1 km: two tight hairpin bends ➝ two large rubbish containers on the left.
- Turn right onto the track signposted Gîte Rural.
- Keep climbing for 1 km: you pass La Souleilo (terrace on the left).
- Continue another 1 km to the end of the paved road.
- As you leave the forest, the barn perched on the left is Cambouich.
The gate with pivoting bars is normal: drive forward slowly and it will open automatically.
